DSi ware - Art Style: Precipice

Just got the DSi, so can't blame me for a double dose of DSi games.

This game surprised me, I went in expecting all of the DSi ware games to be simple touchscreen gimmicky games. Precipice, however wasn't. it's simple and very interesting but has absolutely no touch screen game play. It does however draw me in to the point that I no longer cared about a touch screen.

The game has two primary modes "Ten Floors" where you play for high score, and "Tower" where there is no ending and you play for high level. the games game play is based on a grid based floor with blocks falling periodically, you can climb any block by walking into it, and use 'b' to push them. There are also two special blocks, one that explodes after a few seconds (the bomb) which you must step on to defuse, this also earns you one mega push (empties entire line of block in front of you). The other block is one which recharges your stamina (which drops gradually or a lot if a block fall on you).

At first i thought this looked nice, and then felt bore,d but after a second take at it, i found myself addicted, trying to get high scores, and apparently unlock something called Relax Rooms, which seem to just be calming music, with the character doing yoga on the bottom. I'm not sure how they get unlocked, or which ones (i have number 2 of 9)

Over all a good game, if you want a simple game, with a pretty addicting concept, i would always say give it a shot, if a friends got it definitely try a round of both modes before judging it.
