DSi ware - Art Style: PICTOBITS

Ah, the first review.

So i just jumped and got a DSi (and i won't lie, 90% because i wanted that epic flip notes thing. despite having a full version of Flash and three years or experience with it.) Any ways, i got my free points and decided to buy two 500 point games. Both from the Art Style series, and I'll be reviewing the better of the two (and a game which in my books is better than almost any other DS game I've ever played.) is PICTOBITS. a simple puzzle game that make no sence until played, but the big thing is that every level the blocks you remove from the board are tossed on the top screen and create different 8-bit pixelated classic NES sprites!

The puzzle aspect is that of freely moving pixels (lil blocks called bits) to make lines of 4+ or squares/rectangles of 2x2 or more and all these deleted blocks are making us some awesome retro game sprites.

The game seems pretty much perfect here, and to add you can use coins earned via playing to buy harder versions of each stage (with new music, sprites, and much more) and you can buy music for the sound test mode.

Overall I have to say if you are looking for a good DSi ware game, or have spare points a very good pick-up-and-play game.
